The reason I became interested in chess is because I really enjoy the game and the way it's played. My mom introduced me to chess because she thought I would like it. The first time I played, I didn't really understand how to play until my sister looked up the rules. I really enjoy the feeling when I get the chance to checkmate my opponent.

It’s the thrill of competition that made me want to play more and learn new strategies to win. It became even more enjoyable thanks to Chesscolastics.
